I focus on praise-based, play-oriented, communication-driven, and joyful training & teamwork: human and dog.
Training means understanding, not controlling. My sessions are a combination of knowledge transfer, trust-building, fun, and paw power.
My primary focus is on training you as the human and dog owner. You then apply this knowledge and understanding with your furry companion.
I reject any methods that are fear-inducing, dominant, violent, or emotionally harmful.
Treats are great – but often used incorrectly.
I use treats as a motivator when learning something new and as a praise booster for those “WOW” successes.
THE MOST IMPORTANT INGREDIENT FOR TRAINING SUCCESS IS YOUR PRAISE – GIVEN WITH FULL COMMITMENT.
The treat is just the “cherry on top.”
There is no such thing as a typical training session.
